Women's Conference at Round Grove
Round Grove Ladies: Please mark your calendars for Saturday June 12th, 2010 for a Women's Conference to be held right here. Presenting this conference will be Sheri Rose Shepherd, who is a featured speaker at the E-Women Conference in Tulsa. Please help us start spreading the word!!. Cost of the conference will be 20.00 before April 24th and 25.00 after that date and at the door.
To help raise funds for this conference, the Women's Ministry is planning a Spaghetti Fundraiser Lunch right after church on Sunday March 28th. Please plan to stay, enjoy the meal and fellowship and also help sponsor the Women's Conference. Thanks So Much!!

Breakfast
At least through the month of May, we will serve breakfast two Sundays each month. The Youth Dept. will serve on the first Sunday and the Women's Ministry will serve on the third Sunday.
Wednesday March 10th Steve and Faith Leach will be here for our evening service to share their experience in the recent earthquake in Haiti. They will tell us about God's deliverance during this tragedy and answer our questions. All classes are invited to attend. We will meet in the auditorium.
Spring really is coming! The RG Par Chasers will form soon for all women interested in golfing. Peggy Bryan and Nancy Young will let you know later about meetings. Clean the clubs and practice that swing. Also, IF the guys are up to it later, there may be a Cat and Dog scramble!!!
Do you like to fly kites? The Fellowship Department is considering having a "Kite Day" in March or April. There would also be a cookout. They would like to have your input to see if there would be enough interest in this project. If you and your family would like to attend a day of outside fun of kite flying please write it on your attendance card, see Del or Peggy Oney; or Jay or Chi-Chi Steele.
Also from the Fellowship Department: A Church co-ed softball league is preparing for the summer season. All these games would be played in Mt. Vernon. We need to know if there are people from Round Grove who would be interested in participating. Also, we would need a captain or coach (the pay is great!). There is a sign up sheet in the foyer this morning for this as well as one for Kite Day.
